I've been meaning to upload a picture of these bad boys for AGES now. =.= ANYWAY, yes, here they are, my hidden blades. 
They're made from drawer slides, I cut them down to the right size, then replaced part of the inner slide with a wooden blade part. NOTE: THE BLADE IS MADE OF WOOD. IT IS NOT SHARP. CONVENTION SAFE.
They're completely gravity operated: having them on the arm while walking about or whatever won't make the blades release. With a flick of the arm, out they come.
One more thing - on this picture, of my first try, I needed those little wooden bits to stop the middle blade portion from falling out of the casing. I've slightly improved my design since then, on the two commissions I've already completed, so that this isn't necessary, and the blade absolutely will not fall out or detach.
